The Leica SL2 has been unveiled by the photography brand as its second-generation full-frame mirrorless camera that aims to deliver exceptional versatility for prosumers to appreciate. The new camera model features a curvaceous grip that offers enhanced ergonomics for shutterbugs to appreciate and has a three-button rear interface to put a focus on intuitive navigation.
The camera has a 47MP full-frame CMOS sensor along with a five-axis sensor-shift IS system that is capable of producing Raw images with a 187MP resolution. An updated autofocus and the new Maestro III imaging processor work to bring face and body detection technology to the camera for high-quality shots that meet the stringent needs of discerning photographers.
The Leica SL2 will be available for sale starting November 21 at a price point of $5,995.
